Roofing in Crescent Springs and the Towns Around It

We handle roofs, gutters and siding in Crescent Springs and the towns close by. When the work is finished, we don't just drive off. We come back once some weather has hit it, walk around your home with you and show you the simple upkeep that keeps it working.

The Towns We Cover

Most of our work is right here in Crescent Springs and the towns that border it. That means Erlanger, Fort Mitchell, Villa Hills, Lakeside Park, Elsmere and Edgewood. We also take jobs in Covington, Newport, Florence and Taylor Mill. If your home is in one of these places, the work is the same: roof repair, roof replacement, roof inspections, storm damage repair, gutters and siding.

Staying close to home matters for one reason. We check back on the work we finish. After a new roof or a repair, we stop by to look at the flashing, the gutters and the shingle edges once some weather has hit them. We walk you through what to watch for and when to clear the gutters. That's a lot easier to keep up when your home is a short drive from ours. Not sure if you're in our area? Ask on the phone and we'll tell you straight.

What We See on Roofs Around Here

Homes of every age
The river towns have plenty of older houses with steep roofs, old chimneys and more than one layer of shingles. Farther out you'll find ranch homes from the middle of the last century and newer subdivisions. On an older roof, the boards under the shingles can be soft and the metal around a chimney can be rusted through. We look for both during the inspection, so the number you hear holds up once the tear-off starts.
Freeze and thaw
Winters here bounce above and below freezing. Water gets into small gaps, freezes, and opens them wider. Ice can back up at the eaves when gutters are clogged. We pay close attention to eave edges, valleys and gutter pitch so melting snow has a clear way off the roof.
Spring and summer storms
Strong thunderstorms roll through in spring and summer, sometimes with hail or high wind. Lifted shingles and dented gutters are common after them. We take photos of what we find, explain it plainly and tell you if it looks worth an insurance claim. The adjuster makes that call, not us, but we'll help you understand the steps.
Permits
Permit rules for roofing and siding differ from one city to the next in Northern Kentucky. Some want a permit for a reroof and some don't. We check with the local office for your address and pull the permit when one is needed, so you don't have to sort it out.
